The wind remained quite strong from the south west, but there were some good sightings during the day: a first winter Sabine's Gull was seen off the South End in the morning; four Arctic Skuas, two Mediterranean Gulls, a Little Gull, seven Sandwich Terns, a Common Tern and two Arctic Terns also flew past, whilst singles of Teal, Wigeon, Golden Plover, Sanderling and Whimbrel were seen around The Narrows. The Barred Warbler was seen in Cristin garden throughout the day, and two Spotted Flycatchers and three Blackcaps were new arrivals.
