Another calm day with overcast skies saw a reasonable smattering of noteworthy sightings on the island: yet another Manx Shearwater flew South during the day, which once again takes the lead for the latest ever record for this species on Bardsey; four Goldcrests, a Chiffchaff and two Linnets were seen around The Lowlands and in the gardens; four Song Thrushes and seven Blackbirds were amongst the day's thrush counts; and a Water Rail and a Purple Sandpiper were also recorded.
