A day of strong south-westerly winds and clear skies made for much lower numbers of common migrants on the island. Seabird movements out to sea comprised 319 Manx Shearwaters, 43 Gannets, three Common Scoters, four Black-headed Gulls, 59 Kittiwakes and a Puffin. Overhead, just seven Swallows and one House Martin flew north; the male Firecrest remained in the Plantation, and a Spotted Flycatcher was present at Cristin.
